Exchange & Returns
You can cancel your order before the item is shipped for delivery. After the item has been shipped, you can demand a return, refund or item exchange in accordance with theGmarket’s Return and Exchange policies below.
- Korean Domestic Delivery
- You can apply for a return or item exchange from after the item has been shipped to within 7 days after the item’s arrival by clicking the return/exchange button at ‘My Gmarket’ Page.
- Return & Exchange may not be accepted in the following circumstances.
- 1The item has been damaged/made defective by the customer. (except for the package of clothing being opened to check the item)
- 2The item’s value has decreased remarkably due to the customer’s usage/consumption.(i.g.Breaking the seal of the goods)
- 3The item’s value has decreased remarkably due to its time-sensitive nature and it cannot be re-sold.
- 4Unrecoverable liability has been made to the seller due to customization or unique production of items.
- To apply for a Korean domestic return or exchange, you will bear the cost for the shipping and delivery (items with free Korean domestic delivery benefits : the delivery cost for the round trips) unless the seller is responsible for the item’s discrepancy or defect. International Delivery (Ship outside of Korea) Once the item has been shipped overseas for international delivery, return will not be accepted unless the item that you receive is a discrepancy or a defect.
Defective Items & Others
- If you receive a defective item, you can contact the seller directly if you are able to speak Korean. If not, you can immediately contact our Customer Service Center with the photos of the defective item, the invoice, and the shipping box, all of which are necessary for discussion with the seller. The CS center will assist you in communicating with the seller.
- However, Gmarket will not be held responsible for any defects in the items caused by the sellers and will not make compensations on the sellers’ behalf.
- In case minors under 19 purchase items without consent from their legal representative, they can cancel the purchase.
